Who is Taha Clayton

Taha Clayton (aka - Art Lordz) is a unique urban artist with NO training, NO school. A self-taught artist, Taha gathers his inspiration from the world surrounding him. Born in Texas, raised in Toronto, and currently working in NYC, his painting and drawing reflects the many influences that have marked his life. Taha's passion for music is complementary to his love for ART as well. Many of his works to this date have been greatly influenced by pop and alternative music, along with war, politics, love and the universal stresses of the current human condition.

As a budding artist in the contemporary urban scene, constantly challenging his own creative flow and contemplating fresh perspectives are Taha's fueling motivators. Questioning the world around him is essential for Taha and through his works he aspires for us to do the same.
